“Do you feel like you’re doing everything right — yet something still feels off? You’re not imagining it. And you don’t have to figure it out alone.”
Do you feel like you’re doing “everything right” yet you still feel like something is “off”? You are high-functioning but feel anxious or on edge more than you’d like — but you can’t pinpoint why. Are you hyperaware of how you navigate life and intellectualize your experiences, yet struggle to actually experience your feelings?
Maybe you even scoff at the idea of attuning to your feelings and body. But maybe you’re also exhausted from the endless internal strife and ready for change. Are you motivated and willing to look inward, dig deep, be curious, reflective, and open to learn?
“The truth is, I can’t fix you. I wish I could wave a magic wand. Reality is, therapy is both difficult and rewarding. I work empathetically and collaboratively with you to navigate the difficult times and celebrate the rewarding ones.”
My goal is to support you by equipping you with the tools and skills to start thriving — not just surviving. I help you understand patterns that may be keeping you stuck while building practical skills to manage anxiety, improve relationships, and feel more in control of your life.
My approach is warm, direct, and solution-focused. I provide telehealth therapy for adults who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, relationship stress, trauma, or the emotional impact of chronic health conditions.
My integrative approach blends psychodynamic and emotion-focused techniques — helping you understand your emotions and root issues while also building practical coping skills. I use a trauma-informed, client-centered, and strength-based framework throughout.
I hold a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Western Seminary and am a Licensed Professional Counselor (#C9277) with the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists.
I am also an Approved Clinical Supervisor Candidate with the Oregon Board, providing required supervision to student interns and registered associates at Discover Counseling. I am licensed to practice in Oregon.
I’m a born-and-raised Oregonian who loves all that the PNW outdoors has to offer. Outside of work, you’ll find me hiking, solving puzzles, or exploring new spicy foods.
Rachel provides clinical supervision as a Supervisor Candidate under the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists. She works with graduate interns and post-master’s associates working toward Oregon LPC licensure.
Her supervision draws on her clinical experience in anxiety, trauma, chronic illness, and cross-state telehealth practice — offering supervisees a grounded, practical perspective from someone actively doing the work.
