Life can be painful and confusing, leaving us feeling stuck. I believe every individual has the innate ability to heal and work through life’s problems — sometimes we just need help. I consider it an honor to work with clients and provide a space for them to become unstuck while feeling supported the whole way.
Counseling is a unique opportunity to have someone listen, feel, and process with you. I find counseling fascinating and am deeply passionate about how it can be used to help people produce healthy change in their life.
“You are taking a courageous step by selecting a therapist. It is an important choice — and I don’t take that lightly. If you’re interested in working with me, reach out and we can schedule a consultation.”
My therapeutic approach incorporates several major trauma-informed theories of counseling, including EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Person-Centered therapy. I am trained in both EMDR and Brainspotting — two powerful, evidence-based approaches for processing trauma and distressing experiences.
I seek to assist my clients by helping them find new skills and strategies while providing an environment for personal growth and healing. My work is grounded in the belief that healing is possible — and that the right therapeutic relationship can make all the difference.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University. As a Professional Counselor Associate, I practice under the clinical supervision of Aaron K. Potratz, LPC.
I am formerly trained in both EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Brainspotting — two highly regarded approaches for trauma processing. I am also a student member of the American Counseling Association.
In my spare time I love to cook, explore outdoors, go to the gym, and spend time with my family and friends.
