You might be here because

You want real therapy — just without the commute.

Telehealth isn’t a compromise. Research consistently shows that online therapy produces outcomes equivalent to in-person therapy for most conditions — including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. For many people, the flexibility and privacy of telehealth actually removes barriers that would have kept them from getting help at all.

Whether you’re in Portland, Bend, Eugene, or anywhere in between, our therapists are available to meet you where you are.

You live outside the Portland Metro area and in-person isn’t practical
Your schedule makes commuting to sessions difficult or impossible
You feel more comfortable opening up from your own space
You travel frequently and need therapy that works around your schedule
Anxiety, disability, or health issues make leaving home challenging
You simply prefer the convenience — and research backs you up

Our approach

Telehealth that actually works — here’s how we make it effective.

Our telehealth sessions use a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform that’s easy to use on any device. No app download required — you receive a link before each session. We use the same evidence-based approaches in telehealth sessions as in-person, adapted as needed for the video format.

EMDR, for example, uses bilateral stimulation that has been successfully adapted for video delivery. EFT, CBT, IFS, and most other approaches translate seamlessly to telehealth.

Common questions

Things people ask before reaching out.

Answers to the most common questions about this service.

Read all FAQs →

Is online therapy as effective as in-person?

Yes — for most conditions. A large body of research shows that telehealth therapy produces outcomes equivalent to in-person therapy for anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, and relationship issues. For some people, the comfort and privacy of their own space actually enhances the therapeutic process.

What do I need for a telehealth session?

A device with a camera and microphone (computer, tablet, or smartphone), a reliable internet connection, and a private space where you feel comfortable talking. We send a secure link before each session — no app download required.

Is telehealth covered by insurance?

Most major insurance plans cover telehealth therapy at the same rate as in-person sessions. We recommend verifying with your insurer before your first session. Our team can help you understand your benefits.

Which states do you offer telehealth in?

Our therapists are currently licensed to provide telehealth in Oregon and California. Rachel Ferguson, LPC is also licensed in Washington. If you’re outside these states, contact us and we’ll help you find appropriate resources.

Can couples do therapy over telehealth?

Yes — couples therapy works well over telehealth when both partners are in the same location. Many couples find it more convenient and comfortable than meeting in an office.
