Life can be challenging, and sometimes we all need someone to walk alongside us. I believe therapy is a place where you can be fully yourself, feel genuinely understood, and develop the tools to move toward the life you want.
Hi, my name is Cayden, and I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship difficulties, and other challenges. My approach is individualized and client-centered because I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), attachment-based therapy, and trauma-informed care to help clients better understand themselves, work through difficult experiences, and build practical skills for creating meaningful change.
I am especially passionate about sports performance therapy — working with athletes and performers to explore the powerful connection between mental health and performance. As a former 2x All-American collegiate athlete, I understand the pressures that can come with competition, high expectations, injuries, setbacks, perfectionism, and the feeling that your identity is tied to how well you perform. Whether you are struggling with performance anxiety, confidence, motivation, burnout, or simply trying to find more balance, I want to help you develop a healthier and more sustainable relationship with your sport or craft.
I am a Registered Associate in Oregon and earned my master’s degree in Counseling from Multnomah University in 2025, where I specialized in trauma and completed a capstone focused on ADHD treatment. I practice under the clinical supervision of Aaron Potratz, LPC, and work with clients both in person in Tigard, Oregon and via telehealth throughout the state.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me doing something active. I enjoy rock climbing, snowboarding, being outdoors, and spending time with friends. My own experiences in sports have shaped my passion for mental health and taught me the importance of having people in your corner, especially during the moments when things feel difficult.
You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Wherever you are in your journey, I would be honored to walk alongside you toward healing, growth, and becoming the person you want to be.
