My Office

The front of my building

In February 2015, I moved my office from downtown Beaverton to Tigard, on the corner of 72nd Ave. and SW Beveland St – less than a minute off of Hwy 217 and about a half-mile from Hwy 99/Pacific Hwy. It’s a professional office building with other therapists and attorneys, and it has a private parking lot with plenty of spaces. When you enter the building, find the door on the right to Suite 105 – I share it with my colleague, Nathan Hawkins, who owns “Life Encounter Counseling.”

As you enter my suite, there’s a private waiting area with beverages and comfortable seating. I’ve also made wireless internet available to my clients for free while you wait. Press the button under my name to trigger a small light in my office which lets me know you’ve arrived.

Flip the switch next to my name to let me know you’re here

Walking into the waiting area

When I come out to greet you, I’ll take you back to my office (the first door on the right, behind the locked door). I’ve tried to make it comfortable for my clients, as we will be doing some hard work together there. Feel free to bring your drink or small snack into my office if necessary; I often have coffee or water myself.

As I mentioned earlier, I share the suite with Nathan Hawkins, a colleague I’ve known for many years. His office is two doors down from mine, and we decided work closely together in our separate practices; he moved from upstairs (Suite 205) and I moved from Beaverton into our new shared Suite 105. He’s an excellent clinician, very skilled, compassionate, and easy to talk with. We often refer clients to one another, so if I’m not the right fit for you or our schedules don’t align, Nathan would be the counselor I would recommend you to first. You can check out his website here: Life Encounter Counseling.
