About Renée: Welcome! I offer a personable, compassionate approach to counseling tailored to you and your goals. I strive to make you feel comfortable and empowered throughout the counseling process, because it’s crucial that you find a counselor you connect with and trust. If you would like, I am happy to incorporate a Christian or spiritual perspective into the process. This can be a very life-giving and freeing experience.
My specialties include:
- Anxiety or Stress
- Emotional Regulation
- Life Transitions
- Life Coaching
- Relationship issues
- Social Anxiety
- Spiritual issues
Whatever you’re struggling with, don’t fight the battle alone. Get someone to come alongside you in your fight to overcome-even if that someone isn’t me.
I have worked in both private practice and community counseling prior to coming to Discover Counseling. I am a wife, mother and long-time Portland native. I worked in the business sector before turning my focus to counseling, which gives me special insight into workplace difficulties you might have. This also accounts for the results orientation I bring to each session. I have my Master’s degree in Marriage, Couple and Family Therapy from George Fox University and am currently pursing professional counseling licensure in the state of Oregon.
